Yeah we only got about 10 turns with Jongs before frigates popped up. if that had been 20 or so we were quids in.
these things happen. I never really got great wall going because of the map. it is ridiculous with china on the right map. unlimited gold and culture.

When I saw the slinger at something like 1hp I thought your warrior was dead, but not disputing what you said. Will this delay you settling?

Yeah I was planning to hold if GotS was gone. Knowing my luck won't get the turn till Friday. Not enthralled by any of the other options.
Tomorrow night I have to go out shortly after 1700 but I'm at home working so if you pass me the turn before 1500 I'll still be able to play.

Don't I still need a holy site to create a religion?
It's 1xp per turn from a barb hit after you have a promotion. Very low reward for any risk.
