Well once the last turtle is improved I'm going to be at +10gpt and then the harbours are +4/+4/+2 so I'd say make the investment. That would give the sheep (first culture acquired tile right?), wheat and banana to work and as its the pingala city I want the food...

On a hardware note, 34 inch ultra widescreen is absolutely the way to go as a one monitor solution if you do generic office work and game. 3440*1440 is just so much more functional in general, but gaming UI tend to cluster information at the side. In CIV it means you get an uncluttered view in the centre, but I would accept for FPS this might make it more difficult.
I'm really annoyed though at Windows 11 not allowing you to move the task bar, and it has an awful complication with CIV only starting on the primary display. I also use a second monitor in a vertical orientation (emails for work and Firefox when using personal PC) and I want the task bar at the top of this screen. So if I make this the primary monitor and try to use re-edit to move the taskbar, the re-edit will not take, and but atheist the taskbar is out of the way, but CIV forces the resolution to 4k vertical on that monitor and not on the desired 34" widescreen. Only solution I have found is using Steam big picture to force CIV to open on the 34" in a borderless window mode but I have to hump through a bunch of steps each time I open the game. And the task bar is still in a shit location.
I still think Windows 7 was the best OS.

Yeah I believe a large amount of this map was hand built. Or at least I assumed it had been once we saw the home islands. I just hope it isn't highly mirrored at this point.

Looking at it I suppose my only question is do you think you might need 3 longboats at BA if the galley doesn't move out?
