Certainly for that in a future game, but I think this is going to be variant enough... this is certainly not going to be a slow game.

PB 50 used a 4,3,2,1 4,3,2,1 1,2,3,4 pattern

vs 4,3,2,1 1,2,3,4, 4,3,2,1


I think the latter gives player 1 an edge vs the PB 50 pattern.

Slight preference for the former but either is fine.

Posted map is final, except for the change listed here.

The only changes needed to the map is to unforest two of the gold tiles. I'll leave the modern strategic resources off unless you're going for a different era start. Consider this a last call for changes as I think the map is balanced enough to play on. Ie, there are important differences between starts, but they should all be winnable.

Also note the lack of modern strategic resources.
