[PBEM22] Friends with Benefits

I'll always applaud any player who posts their scouting plans and actually fits it into the strategy. So few players actually do consider this and it always irks me when a player posts a grand plan and then just says "Oh and I'm wandering along with a scout".

Here you've balanced the scouting with multiple military objectives and still reviewed the tactics to achieve the chosen strategy. But because the others haven't we've gotten the drop on two of them and snuck one of the best city states from under Chevs nose. Praise has to be due there.

What happens if you capture a trader, anyway, like the one at Mog? Does it just die? I know that pillaged ones do but don't know if anything is different with city states...

I think that a true team game like a 4v4 might be worth playing after this. Almost as an exhibition game?

Send two warriors to the camp at Braavos then send one of them to the camp over at the geothermal island. The other will head SW into the FoW as there is going to be abother camp over there, and a quad or two can help clear the Braavos camp for a bit of XP on the way over.

Writing is in, Campus is placed (52 production, it's a steal for 5 beakers per turn).





That Braavos camp just needs to die, it's a liability we don't need. There should be two land tiles to attack from and with that horseman and then scout to deal with I think that two warriors is both safer and quicker to potentially cycle through goody hut benefits.

Shur spends one turn losing 4.5 food, and then the granary keeps growth to size 7 at full speed. What are we thinking for the next 3 housing? Aqueduct, buy the fish and then improve the fish and banana? Or lighthouse? We're going to run out of tiles...





More scouting is good. We need to expand this map.

A ram is 8 turns gold production? Well that isna problem for everyone one else.

I always forget the housing and amenity for CR. Still doesn't solve the tile problem. Granary into Monument?

Asaik regarding district discount. When you completed one district (for example campus) the discount formula immediately is updated for this specific district ( but none other you need a new tech to force the overall calculation).
Need to be double checked as I don't have the latest version. ...

...Is there the possibility of a T54 attack on the Japanese capital (I don't think this is wise but if we are there then that means we are through the choke points and TAD must be dead as he has 1 city and can't block all the choke points). OTOH Japan has a military score of 166 and if he pushes back for Shodai then his capital might actually be open?
