SD is the most flaky player going though. None of your neighbours can be trusted but then if you think this game is won in the long term (note I'd want a plan to deal with that GNP disparity) then do you have a way to stop them all invading you, and do you have a way to stop any of them growing beyond what you can manage?
SD is going to attack someone. It'll probably be SaC if he gets his way unless you are distracted. How does he handle Cornflakes if he is not embroiled in a war on the opposite front? That's a question he has to answer for either opportunity (but it's SD and I don't think he ever thinks that far ahead, he is generally emotionally driven). Do you think he is passed off at Cornflakes by something?

Corn and SD have been at war IIRC and they have had bad relations for the whole game as far as I can tell. And as you said SD is emotial player

Every turn is a completely fresh slate for Superdeath; I don't think he has diplo memories. All you can accurately predict is that he won't hack the game, the 10 turn timer on diplo deals seems solid.

So Mjmd got his revenge burning in:
I have a settler right there to replant. Thinking I put it on the grass hill the workers are currently on. We lose a cottage but it's a lot easier to defend. EDIT: Brilliant idea to plant a city 2NE of Dominion but it probably won't fly in game. So I guess the riverside plains tile 2N of the silver, which was where I had an idea to put a filler city anyway. It can still work the Sheep, even if it loses a grassland cottage tile.
I have thoughts on Mjmd of course, but I'll just say that this border was never going to work once we planted Citadels where we did. He obviously didn't like it, we told him tough luck, and then he started putting similar things to me. That city was indefensible unless we managed to grab the first ring (and we were up to 47% sadly). Only question now is if his revenge is satiated now.
Also, burning this city saved us 5gpt.

Okay fine, I'll give one Mjmd rant:
All game long we've been trying to get him to coordinate against Cornflakes because it's been obvious who the threat this game is. And Mjmd was like "nah, I'm going to go eat the easy guy (Bing) and you take on the tempermental difficult guy (Superdeath), and then we can deal with Cornflakes". But then when Cornflakes attacks Mjmd, then he's like "You better defend my western border cities for me!" This was more of a vassal-state arrangement in his head than any kind of partnership with one-sided deals like that. I have no sympathy that Cornflakes has burned two of his cities. I only wish he had the brass ones to invade and burn more.

You could try and play this as motivation to show Cornflakes you are more invested in seeing mjmd dead though.
There is no good place to force a replant though unless you want to commit to racing James Craig.

Mjmd is certainly making that a tempting option

Being rational for a moment any city that can't hold the first ring borders is essentially dead so...how unexpected was this?

Not very. It's why I had moved my Bing army down south to camp out right by that city.

I am just exhausted by AI Diplo.
So the left side of the tree seems fine: We both go to war with Cornflakes and then Superdeath gets to eat SucksatCiv. Sure, I'll take that.
But the right side? I was trying to signal where Cornflakes' troops were to Superdeath and he just repeated it back to me, so I can tell he has no idea what I was going for. Nevertheless he sends it back.
Oh, thsoe Cornflake troops? I lost them this turn. Which means they had to move east, towards Superdeath.
Up to +60gpt now.
