We can use a similar truck to 2-whip a worker from 29h to max overflow … which also converts the food surplus of that turn into overflow hammers, which then get the IMP bonus
Those plains incense are great commerce tiles, but look like it might be a stretch to get them. Maybe IMP will help steal some extra territory from MJMD. He is creative though
What is the password? I may have a couple minutes to log in and look around.

"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Officially met Mjmd and sent our first diplo message. I think we can get slightly better chunk of land between us via diplo.. and we can spam cities in the south over whomever is there. Preferably Ginger if he is actually semi-checked out. Bing isnt a bad "choice" either. Charriu i doubt will be friendly in diplo talk if the last game was anything to go off of.

If you use CTRL+B and ALT+i you can send screenshots with cities, units, and interface hidden. Might also hide improvements but I can’t remember for sure. EDIT: for diplo map sharing.

On T23 the worker has to pick a forest to chop into the settler ... we should finalize our 2nd city location now in order to put the worker on the best forest for getting to the 2nd city afterwards. There aren't any spectacular obvious sites. Hunting is required for either the northern or southern deer. Best food available is the southern deer but that can only steal crabs from the capital for quick growth ... but you can't research both fishing and hunting in the timeframe of the quick IMP settler.
I think best option is the BROWN DOT on the river to the east, stealing corn for rocker booster start and picking up crabs + ivory. You can finish the road 1E of the capital for a trade connection (you did put 1T into the road on the way to corn, right?). 2nd city can build a workboat first, while your worker mines a plains hill at the capital [as good as a 6-yield food tile when building IMP settlers]. After BW go Fishing > Hunting so you can improve Ivory, and deer at 3rd/4th cities.
I considered settling next to gold and use the extra commerce from gold to found a religion and pop the borders, but given IMP your 3rd city will come quicker than you can get to a religion and you can't guarantee it will land at the gold city.
Another option would be 2W of wheat picking up fish+floodplains instead of clams+ivory. Negatives though are that it will take a couple extra turns for road connection, and can't swap the banana back and forth. Floodplains are not valuable until you can cottage them, and you'll probably be at 4-5 cities by the time you get to Pottery so you can easily pick up the floodplains in a later city by then.

I like the east spot, maybe followed by the wheat-then gold city? Yes, i remembered to do the road.
Gave Mjmd a rough dotmap for our border. NOT set in stone, main thing is the desert is a great natural border, with the NE floodplains/incense being the only thing i want some of. The wheat/incense to the SW are minor.

As CRE he has a spectacular 2nd city site with grass forest deer, riverside grass gold, coastal fish, and grass cows he doesn’t even need AH for that to be a spectacular city!

Exactly why im trying to get more of this border region than i "should" be able to get and since Ginger is apparently our southern neighbor, if he isnt paying as much attention as he should....
