I assume everyone picks and announces in their thread, then picks are revealed when the map is hosted.

Ya basically lock your pick in the thread and then once everyone is locked can be revealed.

Quick request: can someone please link to the map requirements?
I am a little under the weather right now so if you can give me the requirements now I can get starting screenshots on Monday, plus a map for lurker checking same day.
Current games (All): RtR: PB80 Civ 6: PBEM23
Ended games (Selection): BTS games: PB1, PB3, PBEM2, PBEM4, PBEM5B, PBEM50. RB mod games: PB5, PB15, PB27, PB37, PB42, PB46, PB71. FFH games: PBEMVII, PBEMXII. Civ 6: PBEM22 Games ded lurked: PB18

Personally, I find that banana-forests are a great start-equalizer, as everyone gets a 3f1h tile, with some interesting options on how to develop it further on.

Question: How much space do you want per player? 4 player maps are quite awkward you see
The other point is that 4 player games often end shortly after one player is dead, so how long do you want the game to last?
