Hideous, isn't it? I'll see improvements over the next couple turns as banks come online, but I really need to get out of this war.

To that end, I sent in a cat and it looked pretty decent for me here:

...and the commerce-rich East Carthage is mine. Seventeen villages or towns just waiting for the regrowing, so that'll be a good seventy commerce per turn base, turns a profit even before the Forbidden Palace comes online. Only difficulty is that whole Economics (1) sign over Mali.

Main fight is here, though. Nicely collaterally damaged, nothing huge but from the sims I know the 7.7 muskets are within my coinflip range...

Gross. A single hitter short means another 3-4 losses next turn as he reinforces. Very frustrating.

Frankly, there's been fewer beaver jokes than there could have been.

Anyway, Bing evacuated his wounded knight and whipped a fresh musket, but a fresh musket is easy pickings for a well-promoted risengarde...

...so I took the city, granary intact, renamed it Gose and SWEET SID THAT'S A LOT OF SETTLED SPECIALISTS.

 anyway also settled Dortmunder in a nice and defensive spot. I'm a little worried that Da might have cultural control of Gose's pigs tile, I desperately want that city to be well considering the FOUR SETTLED GREAT GENERALS make it automatically my default heroic epic candidate. It's only easily 24hpt base but that's acceptable as a minimum.

Wrapping up Bing, last two cities we just want to be as efficiently as possible. Then burst Steel for security and try to go Printing Press for economy. 

Speaking of economy, I Nowfrogger got a very nice event this turn (not spreading to Mali of course).

Oh yuck, Da has its 4th-ring borders already. Saving Gose's population is going to be hard, and I think that means those dyes are a write-off. Please, Bing, just be dead here ASAP.
