[spoilers] Commodore is strategic in Pitboss 74

Only thought I have is maybe switch the ordering of 2 and 3: it's definitely possible that Bing settles a sheep/marble/silver before we get there. The land to the east is more valuable but losing 3 would make for an awkward border with Bing.
Hum. The micro is worth looking at, although that's 4 tiles of extra roading, and if we settle that we really want an axe at that point. Part of the problem is that those settlements in order of snowball are 2-4-3, but in terms of claiming territory are 4-3-2. Having #1 north is annoying for the geostrategic situation, but I'm really not happy delaying copper.

Yeah agreed with all of that including needing an axe for #3. Hopefully Bing has good land in other directions, more scouting here might be useful.

Just save "The Next War" until you find a nice juicy border ...

Well Pin explained his naming scheme to me, so that border is "Outdoor Survival".

Another "obvious edit" note, keep your latitudes in mind when adding forests.

Can you choose what 'type' of forest when editing, i.e. was there a way to edit without you noticing?
Purely theoretical question as I have no idea if that part was edited and how.

Yes you can, the buttons for all forests types are next to each other (and jungle, river and fklood plains) so you can't miss it.
