Are you, in fact, a pregnant lady who lives in the apartment next door to Superdeath's parents? - Commodore

Also, can we appreciate my luck with having Rome as my first target and aggressive Zulu as the second one?

Scooter is no fun. He made peace with GT just when things were going to start becoming interesting...

Teach him a lesson perhaps? The stack in Yishun (on screen) is almost all he has...

I decided against immediate war. Scooter is simply too far away. With GT holding territory is the issue, it will take me forever to build and bring south axes and he can mass impies and just slaughter my Horse Archers. Probably, I should leave them both be until knights, I have a lot poorly developed land.

A technical question. Is that true that if you pop a tribal village by expanding borders over it, you cannot get hostile barbs? And get better results overall?

You cannot get barbs.

Q is right, and as for whether you get better results this way: When a hut is claimed by a border pop, you'll get either 20-40 gold (by far the most likely) or 41-70 gold (least likely) or a Scout (second-least likely) or a map or a tech (a Warrior is also a possibility in SP games, but not in MP). Ten straight rerolls would mean you get nothing at all, but the chances of that happening are a very small fraction of a percent. Note that a Scout above 0.6 health (or Explorer above 2.4 health) gets almost the same results except that it sometimes will get 5xp instead. Sufficiently-injured units also sometimes get healed instead, and non-recon military units are pretty likely to pop barbs instead of any of these (same chance as getting gold, at least at this game's difficulty).

(So the short answer is, "Yes, what you said is true," since you probably don't want more barbs to kill nor some extra xp on a Scout.)

Thanks, guys. Here you can see the village in question, right near the Westernmost city:

I was thinking about popping it with my warrior but now think I'll just settle a city nearby.

Plemo sends me an open borders request every other turn. Is that so weird that I do not want to open them to the scoreboard leader with The Great Lighthouse?
Also, I forgot to take a picture but Superdeath sent me a complex proposal in which we were both supposed to fight Greenline and, on top of that, he would go to war with Plemo and me with Piccadilly for some reason. It also had a copper for copper and gold for gold deals added to it. A funny guy. He could not be trusted to maintain a basic fish for fish agreement for two turns and now he expects me to participate in this arcane geopolitical schemes of his.
Also, this is cute:

My mfg and food are exactly average! Really worried about this top gdp guy, more than about anything else.
