The path forward is to get Knights and absorb GT and scooter ASAP. Liberalize Nationalism, get Taj and beeline Redcoats / Cavalry. I somewhat hope that Pic's economy problems will become chronic, he falls behind in tech and presents himself as a viable target but, frankly, I have doubts about that. His traits are trash when it comes to science but his land is just too good. I invaded GT and offered him this: GT is a bit too successful in his war with Scooter. Took another city and pushed deep into scooter's territory: I think he either gives me a city - and I will get a healthy city with some basic infra (including, importantly, library) which I can immediately start fixing (removing the jungles) or I will get some capture gold and distract him at the cost of a few horse archers. I think it's a win-win scenario. I do not want to get entangled too deep in the war until I have knights. If he throws a big enough army at me, I'll just retreat.
What units do you have there?

Btw, GT has the first half in it and logged in just when I was finishing my turn. He obviously did not know I was attacking him, so this is completely fine. I am not sure, however, I am comfortable with the fact he is still in game, half an hour after he logged in. It is fine if he looks around and thinks - he has a tricky situation; but I keep imagining him moving units around and changing building queues. I think a good etiquette here is not to stay in the game longer than absolutely necessary when you are out of order. Maybe I should say something about this but I do not want to offend the dude based on empty suspicions.

It's not much but he has only basic garrisons, Lucky Plaza is defended by an Impi and an Axe. He can move up one more Impi from the south at the start of the next turn. A very short update.
1) GT gave me Lucky Plaza for peace. 2) MigGinger researched Divine Right. Just what is wrong with them? This is just a ridiculous way to play their position. Magic Science is sitting on a pile of gold and is just two techs from Guilds (he will also need to tech HBR though). Really hope he'll kill them, such play has to be punished. 3) Is there a convenient way to take screenshots from Windows 11? All options I see is either dropping them to clipboard or using some third party tools. Can I just press a button and get myself a file? Like, you know, a normal person? |
