Never mind I see what he means now. The turn he gets (lands) the merchant, it will load onto a caravel and then keep chaining to more, until the last one is within 4 spaces of the target city. Then the turn after, that last caravel sails into the city with the merchant's movement available to do the trade mission.
Does the map wrap either way.

How much tech has Thoth sacrificed by prosecuting the Yuri war? How far behind is he Pindicator and Commodore?

Thoth can only be beaten in two ways: by movement, and attacking where he doesn't have units, and numbers. He can't be beaten on quality, even with a tech advantage he should cover the power difference just on promotions on defense.
If he can survive the naval game then it's going to be incredibly hard to keep a lid on him for all the other players. Not impossible, but I would rather be in Thoths position than anyone elses. |
