Anyways for some reason haven't done the most important of my cities in PB66 and my 2nd capital in Santiana with grassland pig and wet wheat first ring. 2nd city and it helped make up for my 3rd and 4th having no new food. Here it is building a tactical nuke.

Got great merchant which puts me at 18% chance of failure. Gav and I did not understand each other. Or maybe he understood me and I was just too hopeful on his message back. GT now has 7 workers by me....... I think* he is just roading my territory for me? I will not be taking the workers via war dec as I think this would violate unit gifting at least in spirit. And mind you I really need the workers. I just whipped 1 out and about to do another because with most of my cities growing and wanting to plop down more cities I'm short on them.



Pivoted new settler and a worker to the irrigation filler as its my strongest remaining site to settle. Then I have the desert incense triple oasis site and two very filler sites south of my capital.

Edit: Oh Ginger had offered me corn for wheat. I accepted and then tried doing a map trade. They then demanded 30g for it. Now its not a bad price, but they are leading. When you are leading you don't get the same deals people. So anyways hooked up my corn and sent them this. Will see.

Former southern SD land that he just got to leave for so long I was convinced it was island for a long time. Also a good reminder on how far Plemo was before I pushed him back. All that purple to the east will eventually be gone.

I'm not going to lie I had a nightmare about this stack after last turn. And of course it was a long turn roll and wait. GT had asked for wheat followed by a separate message he would war Gav. I took this to mean he wanted MapMaker and he would be a mercenary force for me.



I had given him the wheat in his original request before I looked around, but ya quite a stack. The spear out of Map Maker was to cut the hill road SE to prevent a fast march on the rest of my empire.

Since he didn't declare on me I now have two theories.

1) He is actually attacking Gav because????
-  Help SD out so he can fight Nauf????
- Revenge for PB66 for some reason - if so would rather his forces go against people killing him this game.
2) He is going to declare but ask for peace to gain good will and then go south to that blank hole between Gav and me and have a settler coming to hide out.

GT did declare on Gav and moved his units in A way......



I have two theories. 1) He has a settler coming to the wheat site and that was his diplo message to me. 2) He moved his stack before he moved units to the hill and saw it was size 1.

Didn't finish turn as its 2am and I'm debating where to send worker and settler that are up there. I think I should be going for oasis site IF GT is trying to take that other wheat. However, if he isn't I want that wheat site although not sure if it would be on iron or where Gav has. Complicating decision is someone seems to have pillaged GTs desert roads. I'm also pretty sure I'm turning on tech.

There are some serious problems with my GA demos. Mainly that Ginger out of GA is blowing them away. I'm pretty sure merc and rep out of GA will NOT be enough. And mind this is with me skimping HEAVILY on military in order to get infrastructure up. He is 2nd in food vs my 6th, but ya wish people hadn't been feeding him happy for NO REASON for the last 80 odd turns. Well I guess Ij was getting a happy in return but still confused by Dreylin doing a happy for peace. Ginger's power has only just started going up.

I think I would take this fight if I was Gav. Its that or lose the city. I would cat and then use GG, but save a promotion for healing.

I meanwhile will also continue to sit back on much less food and try to do something. Hopefully Nauf can balance SDs power a bit because this GT invasion will hurt Gav. I have a massive 3 knights in production to go help Gav out. I may have decided to mostly just keep building infrastructure to see what I can do economy wise.
