Nice of the barbarians to pop up here, perfectly optimized to give me a 10xp mace.
Parthenon landed. If I land the Sweaty Pizza it's going to be a real question about running Pacifism vs. Theocracy in the golden age (4t away now).

I was confused at first on this one, because I did have the cash on hand...but what I lack are actually any cities without Hinduism.
I'll take the walls-commerce, sure.
Speaking of commerce. This shot has all my current cottages, although I need another twenty-two in the various spots for the commerce locations. Any new cities are going to be focused on mines, workshops, and watermills though.
Three turns from now is going to be silly. Settle two more cities to go up to a total of twenty, landing Great Library, kick off golden age. I...might not need to conquer anything at all, frankly. This is absolutely enough land to launch a spaceship.
It's Turn 100. Anyone have any questions for me? I've been trying to report regularly, but I'm sure there are misses.

A very good turn, although two turns more will be even better. I could kick off the GA right now, but I'm waiting on seeing what the roulette wheel gives.
For the interested:
So as you see, I'm ahead, but not overwhelmingly so. Yet.

Made the Banking Bulb roll...
...so this one stays as a tactical option. Fun.

Progressing nicely in the overall population races. I've looking at Sistine Chapel to be added, but I've swept my main objectives from my Aesthetics/Literature diversion.

Well hello there my friend. Thoth is never a safe player but that confirms that he's in coastal range of Pin. Good to be able to watch him.
I put on all 15 of my courthouses' EPs into Thoth for the turn, so I see his graphs now. I'm trying to discount the ridiculous Golden Age spike, GNP looks like Yuri is top dog outside of me, Thoth close behind:
Natural MFG has been Pindicator's winning stat for the longest time, but now Thoth and surprisingly Yuri too have begun to converge. I suspect I'll be right at that same point when my GA ends. Remarkably close.
Crop yield reveals Thoth is the second placer, unsurprisingly, but what's more surprising is that from global averages this means Krill's score growth is population and he might be the number three competitor. Impressive recovery. Note Krill and Thoth are both Financial.
Power isn't very interesting still with regards to Pin and Yuri, but Thoth's flatline as well as his contact via Pin's borders tells me that he's not in any kind of arms race with Mongolia. Disappointing, but not shocking.
Great Scientist landed. I need to decide on using him for another golden age vs. trying for a good bulb. Philosophy is the easy one and speeds Nationalism (Taj) and Military Tradition, but Chemistry is also viable for an early Steel push. Will need to think about it.

Good, Banking is a 100% bulb.
Big choices this turn, mostly revolving around keeping Caste vs going back to Slavery. In the end Guilds also boosting workshops decided me for Caste, if I'm made to regret it then good on my neighbors. Mercantilism is the big prize, ending the GA with twenty free specialists is nice.
... but of course that makes for an annoying turn of micro, as I'm forced to go city by city to fire every single spy.
Pindicator expects a knight timing attack, but given Yuri's big stealing his unique unit I'm more or less jettisoning fast knight pushes, just doesn't seem sporting. Keep massing elephants, sir.

It's a little demoralizing to post into the void. Anyone out there?
Did a little math and realized with Great Library and Bureaucracy this Ottawa-Scale capital has a pretty fast academy payoff. So, Academy:
Golden Age ended and the stats still look...reasonable.
Discovered another Random Krillmod Bonus by the way. I cannot keep these straight, but I'm still delighted to see the bank cheapness. Pity my economy is so efficient that it's only the bureacap and shrine that really need the banks ASAP.
The empire. I just realized I'm out of casino/gambling games and I settle NEXT TURN. HELP.
This is my security blanket. I might attack Yuri just because I need to use some of these stacks at some point. Now that I'm out of pacifism I'm not paying out the nose for this anymore at least.

I'm following along, appreciate the reports. For city names, how about some Asian casino games like Mahjong, Pai Gow, and Keno?
