I liked that, seems like almost a pity to build the courthouse. It, along with Representation and Printing Press, has made a dramatic uptick in GNP:

Pindicator is also in a golden age.

Printing Press is such a good tech for me. Up to 57 base commerce per turn, the village/town count is still growing too. Free Religion helps too, heck.

The single biggest roulette wheel result I'm hoping for is a Great Engineer. If I get a Great Engineer, I literally don't have to WORK at getting a Cultural Victory. The culture from Creative Constructions would be perfect, and most cities would actually break even with a Wall Street HQ, thanks to the terrace bonus. Crazy.

Okay, this is starting to get a little silly, and I'm still not near max. Oxford in 1t more.

Culture and Domination stats, by the way. Still quite a ways to go.

Pindicator, revolted to Mercantilism, offered OB and I reluctantly opted to offer back. I want to know his core because that's the easiest to integrate even though it's a hard conquest. Yuri is a miserable land but weak, while Krill is the nearest rival and needs punching. Hard choices ahead.

Yuri's workforce is getting bored. Roading these deserts is a sign.

Harbors are about to get much more efficient (I'm not building harbors this game).

I love this event. I would prefer all events have some choice element like this.

Well?! You can't say that and not tell us your choice. nono

These events and the events in FfH reward floating a gold balance, which feels so counterintuitive these days.

I won't turn it down, but this event is just "you built a cathedral, good job".

Horserace Bets is increasingly annoying to Yuri, I think, but he's signaled that he's willing to split Yuri, so I'll keep on eating tiles from his best cities I guess.

Golden age is over, with Steel in as well. I need to wrap up MilTrad too and I'll have all I need for...someone.

Eighteen rifles already, and I can mass-upgrade maces maybe, but I think the biggest upgrade is turning a dozen trebs into cannons.

This is going to be a steep spike...
...and where does it go? Well, look who ELSE is beating me in Crop Yield now.

61 villages/towns already. Only 10 more coming though, which is enough for the economy.

My Bureaucap carries so much, even moreso now that the 18-turn golden age is over. I love this sucker so much. Look at how many beakers are made even in peace:

I could feel jealous about these really nice islands that Pindicator landed (and Yuri snagged for horse).
Instead I'm going with feeling grateful, these islands give Pindicator some hope and gave him just enough of an axis of advancement that he didn't throw his game despairingly into my own meatgrinder. Going to be a pain to take though.
