Just to make sure 12.1 was the version of the game that stripped warriors of the ability to take bronze weapons, correct?

If so, I'll need to check my re-install (after 15 years of copying the files from old computer to new computer, my original boxed version of the game gave up the ghost and the DVD wasn't installing anymore, so I had to buy off GOG a few weeks ago) and make sure I have the right version.

Yes, that should be correct. If you have v12 installed though, you should be able to just unzip the new 12.1 xml (link copied from the first post of Q's EitB 12 thread) into your BTS/Mods/Erebus in the Balance v12/Assets folder, overwriting the existing XML folder there.

Thanks. I had it on the old set up but with having to uninstall, buy and reinstall, I ended up only with the subsequent 12.2 build and wasn't too sure which download was the proper 12.1.

And could we re-enable the combat log ?
I do think that was deactivated because performance issues and the game becomes 20 years old this year ?
Even the final version of FFH2 should be over 15 years old.
I don't think performance should be that much of an issue with over 15 years of PC development.

Played and sent. I think everyone has to change their .ini files to enable combat log? I haven't done that yet since I rushed through the turn.
