Korea is good. The UB is not as good as it used to be, but it's cheaper. The free spec is a problem in some occasions but meh. The UU is awesome and frankly works astoundingly well until cannon turn up.

Shame I don't know who my leader is.

So I get Vicky of Korea with both marble and Stone? And Mids are available on a Classical era start?

OTOH, no happy, fin coast doesn't scale, limited cottage land and an easy way to go bankrupt with IMP stretching to settle cities whilst stuck with full price granaries and lighthouses. This is not a slam dunk.

Shame I don't know who my leader is.

My PC is playing silly buggers and crashing. Think it's something to do with temperature and the CPU when playing Civ 4. It's fine with civ 6 (but I only play in strategic view) and was fine with civ 4 when I played for hours the other week but it was much cooler. I'm going to struggle to get screenshots.

I am not simming this game (ie creating a sim, I'm still doing the mental sims). There are only three viable city locations, two need a work boat and culture and the third needs culture and too many worker turns. There all bad but workable, they can be used to achieve a goal. The capital is almost certainly going to get moved.

The cowstonewheathorse city can actually sit at size 6 with a temple (so second city) and generate an easy 17hpt and gets the shrine down, and I could go for Mids (29hpt with the stone and OR), or even Oracle to push out the shrine faster.. It's actually a very limited area, I need to farm alot of the tiles to get, and this is the only production site available. There isn't really anything to cottage either, so Math into Oracle'd CoL doesn't seem completely stupid so I don't go bankrupt.

OK, here's what I want.

Capital on the western blue circle. Second city on the eastern blue circle. Granary, 2 workers in the capital. Scout in the capital, archer in the second city. No spare change.

Workers hook the rice, then road towards the plain cow. Revolt slavery OR T0, religion T1. Capital build s a work boat and whips at size 2. Second city build a granary on plains hill forests or the horse until the cow is improved T7, and micro allows a chop to finish the granary T8. Wheat hooked T11 without a road but coastal trade route. Tech is Maths first.

Someone has 32 gnp (simply mining one gems tile isn't enough, so no idea what permutation including research bonuses gets there). Someone else has 15 crop yield (2 improved resources, likely workboats)

This is going to be fun.

Also, scooter, there is a grass hill tile at city 2 that is one tile north of where it should be in that screenshot. I say this because it requires, post CS, an additional two tiles of plains to be farmed to get irrigation to that tile. I'm blaming you if I lose this game now ! wink
