Hi guys,

I just had a quick question about forum posts. It seems that it is possible to use BB code to add in stuff like links, pics, code etc, but I was wondering what the reason for disabling HTML code was?
Current games (All): RtR: PB80 Civ 6: PBEM23

Ended games (Selection): BTS games: PB1, PB3, PBEM2, PBEM4, PBEM5B, PBEM50. RB mod games: PB5, PB15, PB27, PB37, PB42, PB46, PB71. FFH games: PBEMVII, PBEMXII. Civ 6:  PBEM22 Games ded lurked: PB18

Basically there are a lot more ways to put in exploits in HTML code. Especially with all the forum bots, if something exploitable was found, we could have a bot join the board and post something nasty before somebody could even have a patch out for it. Much safer to keep it off.

Realmsbeyond has it easy though, atleast people don't bruteforce passwords or DDOS attack this site like my old clan's site. That was a major pain in the ass.
