Scenario: You are Pericles, leader of the simple and happy Greeks. As civilization dawns in 4000BC, you realize that while technology will bring a measure of ease and prosperity, there is the risk that the temptations of progress will take away from the simple pleasure of a life well-lived. You desire to keep Greek life simple.

Scoring: This is a scored event. In order to be eligible for scoring, you must win a conquest, domination or space victory, though the other victories are open to the AIs. Your score is simply the total number of units and buildings that you build during the course of the game. This number can be calculated by summing all values from the "Built" columns of the Info Screen at the end of the game. Building two warriors adds two points to your score. Building the University of Sankore adds one point to your score. The winner is the player who leads the Greeks to the simplest victory, i.e. the fewest total builds.

Additional Information: The map is a slightly modified Hemispheres map. While the difficulty level for the game has been set to Monarch, the AIs have been given some slight advantages. One advantage is that each AI knows every starting tech: Fishing, The Wheel, Agriculture, Hunting, Mysticism, and Mining. Also, each AI starts with an additional scout. The map will be slightly crowded since this standard-size world holds eight civilizations, including the Greeks.
