Version:
Bts 3.19
Scenario:
Your colony ship, the Ralleveire, crashed spectacularly into its
destination. All technology was lost, but some of the crew survived
and must now try to scrape together an existence on this unknown
but fertile planet.
Though the area immediately around you is now a giant radioactive
crater, the surrounding lands were mapped out by the ship's computer
prior to the landing event, and that data is still available to
you. Determine a good initial plan for settlement and the continent
will be yours!
Variant:
You start with Satellites, Communism, two Settlers, a Fast Worker,
a Great General Warrior, an Explorer, a Great Artist and a Great
Engineer. You're playing at Deity difficulty (as that's what you
are, to the natives) and tech trading is off. Of course, your start
makes it much easier than a typical Deity-level game.
No scoring, no variant rules... just an extraordinary start with
lots of options.
Comments:
Huts are scary. Do not explore them with your non-Explorer units
unless you can handle 6 barb warriors appearing. (As long as you
avoid doing this, barbarians will only appear at the normal time,
many turns into the game.) Also remember that State Property negates
the problems of distance maintenance. Finally, keep in mind that
your Deity-level opponents also start with two settlers. Good luck!
