I don't think roading to the sea will connect an inland city to your cities across the water. You'll need to road to a river (which will then carry the trade route into the sea at its mouth) or road to a city or fort on the coast.

I expect the majority of you are reading NSA's thread, but for those of you dedicated to me (i.e. Krill).

Elland Road and Reebok fallen this turn. Whipped everywhere I possibly could but Stamford Bridge I expect to be a gonner next turn. Ironically, I am getting absolutely battered yet still 3rd in ranking at this moment in time.

What I also find fascinating is the demogs that say I am No 1 in Life Expectancy I suspect Sumerians will not be around much longer

I'm not actually DL'ing any more. Once you lost the cats and HA you'd only be around for as long as it took NoSpace to find and capture your last city, and I didn't think you needed a sub for that long...

Well it has been a while since my last update.

I have to say it has not been pleasant.

Hurricane NSA have swept through the eastern borders claiming every city north and south leaving me with just a couple of cities on the western border and they are going to be cleaned up if not the next turn, then certainly the turn after. I wonder if they realize I have Uruk reborn :neenernee

Based on Ruffs posting in the main thread that Ad went first. Unlucky ad. Your game appeared to be hindered from the very start with TT taking the option to attack at the very first opportunity. I can't help but think I may have missed my chance to take TT out early game there. It's also a shame we couldn't have attempted a 4v1 situation although I do feel that maybe NSA would have been too strong for even that so Kudos to them for that .

Well based on novice's posting in the main setup thread, the Sumerians have fallen. After defending against barb swords, axe, and archer my remaining musket was severely inhibited in health allowing NSA to sweep up with their Cav lurking 2 tiles away just waiting.

I hope you have found this thread informative and an enjoyable read. I don't think thread reporting is a particular strength of mine as it takes me an eternity to work out what to write on here.

This just leaves me to thank you all for your input, especially Krill who covered for me whilst away, and giving me some good sound advice.

I would just also like to thank Amelia for taking the time developing a very interesting map which I have thoroughly enjoyed playing.

Once the rest of the players get over here to read this, thanks for playing, I do hope I have not said anything too offensive if anything at all about your play style it wasn't intentional.
