I think I'm going to have to give up lurking CH's thread. It's too frustrating- like a lot of poor players here he complains that he's doing badly, and then ignores or attempts to refute all of the advice he's given. Combined with his "never-my-fault" Martyr Complex it's just insufferable. I want to throttle him & scream "eastway has double your city count, whips and doesn't build civil infrastructure in the middle of a hot war. No fucking shit he's rapidly surpassing your anemic trickle of Praetorians."



Unrelated- why is AT planning on using galleys to drop off almost a dozen HA to assault eastway's GL city, which is held solely by spears? Just load up half that number of axemen, and attack amphibiously... Of course eastway might add more units while AT gets everything set up, but that's a risk for any assault plan.

He's finally offering to pay me something to go away--but only 40 gold and not all at once even? Clearly I'm doing more than 40 gold worth of damage to him at the moment then smile

I've already offered him what I want once (permanent damage; aka Isengard), and he responded with a joke offer--I didn't offer anything this turn, we'll see what he offers next. Until then, we'll keep moving our queens back and forth
