It's good that you know nothing about FFH, else you would realize how preposterous the prospect of mh making it to druids is.
Not sure which one is retep, is he the Khmer color?

WilliamLP is inca yellow. Ichabod is greece blue. And slowcheetah is mongolia brown.

I hope there's food on that one fogged tile or that's a horrible capital.

Turn 110 rolled and we have even more maps now. I opened the turn to a number of trade proposals, the map ones I accepted all of, and this resource trade from Nakor:
I took this trade. In 10 turns we can cancel OB with mh and take our spices back. Or just wait until we need the happiness and cancel the trade for our spices if we can wait longer. We're sitting at 11 happiness in the capital right now, with 10 unhappiness, and incense to be hooked up this turn along with whip anger ending in 7 turns. So we probably can let that spices run for a while. Or we can cancel the trade with suttree - right now we're sending him spices for 5gpt. Oh, and WilliamLP accepted our Gold for Gems trade, so there's that bit of happiness too. Anyway, short version: all our cities will be able to hit double digits without building so much as a granary for infrastructure. I think we do exactly that next: grow all those cities Ichabod continues to push against an ever-lathargic slowcheetah: I offered world maps with everybody we have contact with. Spread to knowledge! We got our circumnav, no point in holding back now. Here are some more map pictures, this time of plako and Ichabod, who we've filled out our knowledge of quite a bit: Our galley is just to the east of plako and should make contact next turn. North of plako is a central island that he, Ichabod, Fintourist, and mh should all be able to fight over. Ichabod and Fintourist are already there; mh probably won't get a city on it, and plako will probably hold off the settlers and conquer it later. This also gives us a better view of Ichabod's south. Fintourist is a lot like us: existing between a large northern neighbor and a southern jungle belt. He's looking pretty good actually and has a lot of resources hooked up. He's even also researched Calendar; note the hooked up bananas and dyes. And he's even moved enough east to snipe that awesome bay location that I noted so many turns ago. Thought black sword or suttree would get that. North of Fintourist is the large expanse of dtay. Not too clear on him yet; we'll have to get over to him and Fintourist before we really get the maps here. Or maybe someone else has them and my big map swap will get us a full picture. In any case, dtay has a HUGE amount of land to build into and unless Fintourist decides to bully him, a couple of peaceful borders. With solid play he's got the pole position, and deservedly so. Our galley by slowcheetah will come over here and check these guys out. I've already offered peace with slowcheetah - hopefully there isn't another city lurking in the fog to block us in. Mea culpa if there is. And I haven't done anything with the turn yet - if you want to play it go for it, or if you don't get to it in a few hours then I'll be back and will sit down with it then. But I was more excited to see the maps and post that in here first

Just jumped in for 5 minutes to take a look around and see the sights. Don't have time to play or even post pictures (won't be back til late-ish, so pindicator feel free to play if you don't want to wait for me), but a two random comments:
1) Lewwyn has already started settling that island. He also has a sentry chariot up on the north part... I'm concerned we're in a race with them for spots on that island. 2) Looking around, mackoti is easily the favorite here I think over Plako. He just has so many options. He has great land and a fair bit of it (both of those mostly due to the poor play of his neighbors more than anything), and he has soooo many options to get more. He has a weak suttree to the north who has great land. He has a weak MH to his west who has some nice land. There's some nice islands off his east coast it looks like... And there isn't really any strong competition near his core. Plako and Fintourist are ... kind of nearby (or they will be after mackoti conquests a civ or two), but I think we'll need to keep tabs on his progress. Thankfully, in the middle game we'll be equipped with 6 move Galleons, so creating a little bit of havoc for a potential runaway is one of the cards we can play.
We actually only need two promotions for an 8-move galleon. So a GG could be split up into four units, making one 8-move galleon and three 7-move galleons. Or perhaps better, you could make ten 7-move galleons instead. Or just settle the GG and pump lots of 7-move galleons.
