Hey now, you guys picked the first fight in PB8. 
Gators, right in the thickest part of the jungle swamp. May I suggest you not launch an attack from that city, ever? Gators will obviously be embarrassingly terrible on offense.

I love that it is Gators that is going to be a severe drag on your economy and require so much effort to get to the point of being a contributor. It needs a great prophet (Tebow) just to make it break even right now.
Question: is Gators unhealthy at size one? This city is looking kind of familiar to me, in a nightmarish sort of way. Good news is that it is not city #3... Cough...Xenu...cough.

Thanks, I should have noticed that. Also, the smoking smiley is not aimed at you guys here. More of a self-reflection. This city will contribute rather more quickly than the one I was referring to from another recent game. Sour grapes smiley, that's what I need.

Yeah to be clear Zed, this is REALLY not a mistake on your part. Your question was 100% harmless. Pindicator and I just had very, uh, unique experiences in PB5 and PB8 of the strangest possible things going wrong, so we're a liiiiiittle edgy  . Also this:

Totally true hah. This "omg we're going to die" conversation starts pretty often because in PB8 whenever one of us got hyper paranoid about someone making a bizarre attack on us, it usually came true.

Heh, good to know. Actually I was more thinking that since I've asked a number of questions in this thread recently, but my success rate at getting answers seems to be dropping, I'm probably just bugging you guys too much. So I'll try to tone it down a tad and let you get on with it.

Oh no, please don't think that. The questions and comments keep me engaged and interested  . I actually was planning to answer when I had the time to actually give a good answer. The terrible/short answer is to grow them both, hammers/military emphasis at Orioles (getting a great person out of there in the short term for a Golden Age), heavy commerce emphasis at Tigers.
