I would just only count turns where we're actually at war with someone. Cold war does not count. Phony wars count though.

I think both mentioned periods of game-enforced peace were actually still at war. You were both, literally, reloading.

Aw yeah. BigKahunaBurger fits the naming scheme and the theme for this game, what with people getting heads blown off and all, so I would be very pleased if you chose that name for a new city 
Also, I think you ought to count every turn where you had to keep a turn split as a war turn (or at least do a speparate count to see how many turn you've played in such a constrained manner).

Yeah, this is definitely a number I think makes the most sense. If we kept a turn split, it implies war was very possibly imminent, which is still a high-tension turn.
Also, I agree with Noble regarding re-settling TGIF.

In any game, the liklihood of a CV has something to do with how distracted the other military powers are. It seems to me that everyone is staring straight at Bigger now... I'd say his odds just went down.

He might have had a chance if serdoa hadn't offered to concede. If serdoa and plako would have squared off then Commodore wouldn't have been able to deal with him before finishing us off. So maybe we this game wraps up sooner rather than later after all
