Pindicator and I conferred, and we're going to sit and heal for a little bit. This is pretty lame though:

The heal rate here is literally < .1 health/turn. Hooray for healing mechanics.

Is it bad that I really want to be the sole team in first place on the scoreboard enough that it's tempting to finish teching archery this turn? That's a whole new level of pettiness right?

Also, the scout is actually at 49hp. That's why the healing shows as 6 turns

I think we only need to heal to 79 HP for now, I see 50% defense tiles for the forseeable future.

A and B for the first two cities looks good by the way.

We'll be at 69hp after this turn roles, so one more turn of healing should do it.

And thanks for the city dotmap affirmation. I know I'm getting ahead of myself a little bit because Bronze will dictate a lot but I think that's a natural progression. I like C for city #4 just to get the gems up and running. It's food poor, but at the fourth city it shouldn't cut too much into our growth curve. (That and better options will be quite a ways away.)

Well we could also do 1E of the flood plains which shares the Commodore plains cow. We'd need culture there but that's not terrible. Current spot claims the other gems down the line of course.

Turn 023

Another exciting turn of not moving anything and hitting enter. Our capital did grow to size 2, though, and we start to look better in the demos for it.

Our scout will heal to 79hp at end of turn, and we will move him NE-?? then. Probably NE-SE

Also, I'm not a fan of 1E of the flood plains. One, I don't think that plains cows are a tile worth sharing. But more important, I think this city is just going to be about working both those gems as soon as possible. So start by working the first one and use that to research IW quickly, then at size 3 working the farmed FP & two gems. Later when we get calendar it'll be a good city with banana, farmed FP, farmed grass, and cottages mostly everywhere else.
