Yes, young padawan, but said player was EXP for 3 extra health, had third ring forests add to health, and was able to play such a builder's game he could even build the Aqua Sucullus. I don't have 40 tiles per city, for enough production to build a health building every turn. But, point taken, I shall strive to shamelessly copy said player's health management techniques... ![]() Sacrifice the Weak is an extra 4 unhealthiness per city, mitigated by the fact every pop only consumes one food instead of two. Checks the pedia And 10% extra gold? Coolness!

Quote:The Bad: Taken last turn. I have counted thirteen Vamps so far... ![]() The Ugly: Seems like Serdoa has hit the Calabim stack with those Catapults. Too bad for Serdoa, but Darrell has gotten a Body 2 Vampire already, which means he has cast Regeneration before moving in. (which is sort of like the March promo). Serdoa is still building Warriors all over the place... Oh, and how funny is that, a mutated Warrior that is both Diseased AND Withered? ![]() Sciz continues to annoy me: If he's smart, he founds on one of the grass hill tiles. If he's greedy, he'll found on the tile I was planning to found on before Luchuirp borders popped. The gem of the Malakim Empire, En-Kai: I have turned a Leaves Priest into a Temple, because soon I won't be able to build those Priests (I'm going to convert to the Veil), and I don't want to send in three missionaries before I convert the city. Every temple in the city is now giving me two happy faces. Well except for the Veil temple, for which I'll need to improve a Reagents tile. And an overview shot, taken at a different angle: The Settler Ra is building will be sent to the Crabs/Whale spot. And finally, let me show you the unit I have kind of fallen for: Str 15, Demon and March, very nice! I also like the fact I don't have to stay in any kind of religion to be able to keep it. I just need to be Evil when I build them. Build them, what am I saying! I'll just upgrade a couple of these fuckers: Too bad I need Iron too... This is the tech that is needed to build them: Allows me to build Beasts of Agares as well. So I just need to grab Fanaticism (1800 beakers), Smelting (1600 beakers), Iron Working (2600 beakers), and Malevolent Designs (7500 beakers), and I'm good to go!!!
Malevolent designs is quite expensive. Are you not going to try slingshotting it from a "free tech" wonder?
Ravus Sol Wrote:Malevolent designs is quite expensive. Are you not going to try slingshotting it from a "free tech" wonder? I might...
Sciz is holding the turn again. I think I'm going to go through with that combined strike on the Luchuirp together with the Ljosalfar.
Diseased Corpses and Ritualists should do the trick. The Corpses will be STR 7, after I heal them with a Priest (who knew you could heal zombies?). My NAP runs out on T140, which should give me enough time to build/whip some troops. I just need to remember to ask Sciz for the Enchantment mana on T130 at the latest (which will lock us in an unbreakable peace for 10 turns). Nasty? You betcha!
T122:
The Calabim front: Looks like the Calabim took minimal losses. And Serdoa has now lost access to his only source of Copper... I honestly don't know how he will be able to stop Darrell. The Calabim just need to heal a couple of turns, and they'll be able to hit Jubilee in one turn (Mobilty + Haste). Ilios Wrote:If he's smart, he founds on one of the grass hill tiles. If he's greedy, he'll found on the tile I was planning to found on before Luchuirp borders popped. ![]() That's a one-turn city take-over! And apparently, that one measly tundra tile: Yep, a barb warrior spawned on it. My Warrior shouldn't have too much trouble taking it out on the defense. If not, I've got another one in position to kill it. And if that doesn't work, I've got a 7 exp Warrior moving north from the capital. I'll finish Deception next turn (I think I'll just delete the Shadow). The turn after I'll switch to Ashen Veil and tech Infernal Pact.
Researching Deception gives you a Nightwatch, not a Shadow...that would be rather overpowered.
