T135:
After getting the Blight pop up, I get hit by this one, of a lighter note:
"Why, ofcourse you can join the Luchuirp Empire, oh wait, they're dead..."
And the F1 screen, after ending the turn:
As expected, I will come out mostly unscathed. There's only one city with a food deficit, and it will get to work a grass farm next, allowing it to grow once more.
I don't really understand the food box mechanics. En-Kai's food box was at 52/28 at size 12 before ending turn, and at 45/30 at size 13 after ending the turn.
I thought all surplus food got wasted after growing a size?

That's hilarious, you should replay and accept just to see if it resurrects Luchuirp.

You thought that and you haven't been microing all your cities to grow exactly?
No, I'm pretty sure everything overflows, and the only thing that's capped is hammer overflow.

It all gets stored in a huge invisible granary.

I wonder what would have happened if you had agreed on that popup. I see several possibilities.
1) Game crashes.
2) A wild Sciz appears!
3) You release Luchuirp as a vassal state. (Not sure if that's enabled?)

Well, yes, ofcourse I know surplus food isn't wasted, when you grow a size.
But I always thought that if you have more food in the box at the start of a turn, that food is wasted.
But I guess that theory is not correct, because En-Kai went from:
40% of food is stored in Granary/Smokehouse, so that's 29*40%=11.6, rounded up = 12
11 surplus food
22 extra food
So that's 45 food, and sure enough, En-Kai went to 45/30 food box after ending turn.
I learn every day...

Have the turn...
Someone got a Great Engineer...
Oh ffs...
Hyborem...
I think I'll need to 6-pop whip the capital, or Hyborem will take the Infernal Grimoire...
Thinking...

When an AI gets a Great Engineer, I think it tries to rush the most expensive wonder available. For Hyborem, that would be the Prophecy of Ragnarok. So you might be safe. But I probably wouldn't risk it.

Yup, I didn't risk it, so I whipped the capital, but it hurt!
T136:
Yes, that's from size 21 to size 9 in only a couple of turns...
Check out the result:
Notice everyone switching from hammer to food tiles.
Anyway, ending the turn gets me the Grimoire.
T137:
Get Fanaticism and Malevolent Designs splashscreen.
I check which wonder Hyborem got:
So now he just needs to build the Prophecy of Ragnarok so he can sacrifice those Mercenaries...
T138:
Iron Working splashscreen:
This gives me access to the Iron resource, and allows me to upgrade/build Eidolons:
Considering they cost over 160 hammers to build, I'm going to use my Priests to upgrade them (I can only build four of them, unfortunately).
I have enough cash to upgrade two right away, and use two level 5 Priests of Leaves. I decided not to upgrade the Stonewardens, as I has already promoted them to March during the dogpile, and Eidolons get this promotion for free.
Here's a full list of what they do:
Just one of those will eat a Saverous for breakfast!
Pretty funny, they become demons, but keep their Nomad promotion...
Also, for some reason, I can't build Diseased Corpses anymore.

Diseased Corpses upgrade into Eidolons (and nothing else) so you can't build them anymore. Once you have all four Eidolons, you should be able to build them again. Otherwise, you could always disconnect-reconnect your Iron.
