I finally managed to chase down the bear to my east. I had a warriorpult and a c1/subdue animals scout ready to take it down.
The odds for the warriorpult weren't good, but hopefully he would do enough damage to the bear to enable my scout to capture it for a bear dean in GLT:
I damn near fell out of my chair at the result: The warrior won, picking up 8 xp and giving me yet another level 4 unit.
Out West, my exploring Cultist found this:
I'll need a level 15 unit and ocean transport to claim this prize. Not very likely.
In East Bannorland I managed to catch sight of Nyktorion's forces, including Gilden:
He's got 3 tigers and 3 archers in F Destination. Gilden won't be as dangerous as he could be thanks to those shock promotions. They make him very tough against melee units but not as tough as he could be against chariots and Paramanders.
Ending turn produced this:
A free spread of Order.
I'll still need to actually research Orders from Heaven to build temples/priests of Order but I'm guaranteed access to the religion.
I'll slot OfH into my tech queue sometime after Fanaticism.
I can now swap my alignment between Good (by adopting Order) and Neutral (by adopting OO) every 5 turns as needed.
I'm going to cash rush the settler in Golden Yurt next turn to found my horse city and cash rush a second settler from Golden Tipi a turn or two later to grab the Rice/Clams/RoP site.
Once the horses are hooked up I'll start upgrading experienced warriors and swordsmen into chariots for some mobile units.
Mardoc has marble hooked up as of this turn, but I think I'm far enough ahead on The Bone Palace to beat him to it if he makes the attempt. He's #2 in MFG by about 30h/turn so I don't think he has the capacity to produce the wonder before I can unless he has a lot of forests to chop into it.
