Goddammit NBC, I want to defend your Olympics coverage, but what the heck do you have against actually showing us gymnastics scores?

This isnt true, people are scrablimg like crazy for any tickets (apart from football) in the ticket lottery most sports were oversubscribed at least 3:1

Incase anybody hadn't grasped, the reason this football loving nation doesnt care about seeing the football is that the general opinion is that the quality of games will be lower than premiership games

They had some really cool pictures in the syhchronized diving competition, but only showed them a couple times. Pictures like this:

The Olympics: That time when my father resumes his vitriolic ranting about any sport not being sport if it relies on judges providing scores.
Hmm, I might have to watch a bit tonight. NZ does well in sports that involve sitting down.

Amazingly, they actually managed to show a scoring guide last night. For diving. And it was on screen for all of five seconds.
