Well, the smart answer is Retep wins, but looking at those numbers I think Suttree hits first, kills a few units but his stack gets wrecked then he loses the majority of his stack when Boldly takes his turn.

Moral of the story: have a reputation for being terrifying, use it to get into your opponent's heads and exploit it to your fullest advantage.

I'm happy for the result of Kuro's defense. I think he plays according to what I believe to be the RB spirit. WLP also has shown good spirits, despite facing a hard defense.

By the way, I don't agree with people saying that retep won the game due to the map. He had a more isolated position, but it was also a very tricky one to play. He overcame the weaknesses of the position, while playing to its strenghts. That's good play, not luck.

retep is easily the best player in this game.

His hand-written planning notebook should be scanned in at the end of the game. But yeah, very very good player.

Although generally, this is a much higher quality pool of newbies than previous greens games...by a lot.

Just caught up on the lurker thread.

-Too much Kuro bitching, kind of embarrassing to read pages and pages of that. Pindicator and Hydra, I would have replied similar to yours.

Welp, they're doomed.

-Way too kind. Sisu's position looked good in the demos, but his geopolitical situation was nigh impossible. Hal inherited a time bomb.

Kind of silly, I think.

LMAO

-Well dang, I thought that was pretty clear bluster on my part... guess Suttree didn't see it that way. When Sut sent me to PM, I hadn't heard from Halvgud in forever, I sent him a PM but took no other action. Now I wish I had logged in. Sorry for whatever part I had in the farce that was the Suttree-Halvgud war. Suttree was a class act about it, at least.
