Turn 165 played....3 major events....WarriorKnight DOWed the Sheam (not a big surprise), the BFM crossed my borders at EOT (WTF? I didn't think it could do that....not a big deal as I have the units nearby to Blind, RoF and eventually kill it, but it came as a surprise) and I captured F. Destination (now renamed to Golden Brothel). Most of the fights were at 95%+ odds, but I did win a Ratha battle at 51%. Lost my goblin and an archer but no units of any importance.
Spoils of war included 110 gp, a Tiger Cage, a settled Gartist and the Timor Mask. I killed off four of the defenders (all redlined from multiple Tsunamis) up north, and I'll capture that city (can't remember it's name off the top of my head) either t166 (if Nyktorion re-inforces it) or t167/168 if he doesn't. I'll need a turn or so to heal up my forces but I'll be able to move on Pink Dot and on into the Elfish heartland soon. Nyktorion will be whipping out defenders, but his mages are dead as are his experienced PoLs. It's just a matter of time. The sooner I finish him off the better, WW is getting really nasty. I'm currently getting +10 unhappies in GLT from WW. (the Pillar of Chains is paying for it's self in spades. ) The happiness situation will get better once I capture Nyktorion's Cotton, Furs and Silks, but will get worse come turn 171 when my NAP with Mardoc expires. I'm not 100% certain that he will attack, but I'm planning on it. He's been running at a very high cash rate these last couple of turns and is upgrading warriors to Drowns and a few Stygians. My information is incomplete of course, but it looks more like a defensive force mix rather than the mass Horse Archers I was expecting. We'll see what happens come turn 171.
Golden Brothel, ouch. That was a little mean.

Waiting for [strike]Godod[/strike] [strike]an update[/strike]....[strike]the save[/strike]
Well, the last couple of turns have taken forever to play (actual playing time, not just waiting for the turn time....) Elfs no longer have a presence on the mainland. Blight has struck (something to do with me razing a size 15 elf city? ) The Malakim populace is a bit unhappy due to mass conscription and war weariness...... And I'm currently running Theocracy/Sacrifice the Weak/Military State/Conquest...... I do like my nice happy builder civics. Turn 167 also produced an Undercouncil resolution from Nykrorion: "Fund Dissidents". Since I didn't have a clue what this resolution does I voted "Yes". Checking the Civilipedia, it produces unhappies in non UC cities (ie WK's cities). Works for me. Drafting/upgrading and good old fashioned building has produced a dozen or so Radiant Guards and 10ish Rathas in the last five turns. I'll have 4 Puppies on the board in a turn or two, along with Mardero and Hameh to supplement my mage/Ritualist spam. Mardoc has been spending cash on Stygians the last couple of turns. An excellent defence against Mage/spectre spam, but not quite so good against a rain of cats and dogs.* *cats=SandLions, Dogs= puppies=Beasts of Agares. There will be some bloodshed/lost cities but I'm confident about the upcoming war vs the ParrotShaggers.
and just because this thread hasn't had any in awhile.....
