It will take a couple of weeks anyway unless we find a map maker who's free earlier.

I can't contain myself, I'm going to suggest method C for picking (since we have enough time before the game starts):

- Same as B, generating 30 random combos and tossing off the 6 weakest and 6 strongest ones
- A small group of lurkers then ranks all players (randomly in the case of completely unknown players)
- Players then take turns picking a combo each, lowest ranked player going first

To anyone who's going to claim I'm only suggesting this in order to get a personal advantage:
