Also, this is just PB6 all over again.
You have made a weird gimmicky map for people who clearly wanted to play something very normal and you did not even explain clearly what you did, opting for subtle hints instead. I think you should accept a bit of responsibility. It is hard for me to be angry here because it turned out to be a huge boon for me (though if I now win it would not be particularly satisfying as I got help from a bullshit random factor and mapmaker who have gone rogue). But Alhazard, I think, would have all the right to be outraged.
No. You asked for a Pangaea map. I gave you a Pangaea map. No one demanded a specific map script be used, and I would have refused to make a map with the base Pangaea map script because it is unbalanced. I explicitly stated the map script used and settings. If you were negligent that is on you, not me. The same applies to any player who did not check the map script. If you win because you realized about world wrap and Alhazard does not, that is no different to how Sulla and Speaker lost PB6 because they did not realize culture victory worked differently in a team game, and your victory is untarnished.

Krill, whatever script you decided to use, you could fix world wrap in five seconds in WB-file. Also, you could have said, explicitly, that the map would have N-S wrap and ask if the players are fine with it (I would not be). That also would be literally as easy, as saying us that we should check the script. At that point, I mostly want to know why you have not done either of that and instead opted to make a mess out of nothing and potentially ruin the game.

And, at least, admit that you have fucked up circumnavigation. On this map, circumnav is achievable before Optics for a player who controls a certain peak - and ONLY for this player. All other players would need to research Optics.

Yeah I accept that as an oversight, I should have caught that.

Perfect, isn't it?
It looks like I am going to win Lib race. I will bulb Education next turn and will have enough gold to research Liberalism at 100% science. Alhazard has no paper, no phil, no chance. A huge embarrassment for him, he had all the cards but wasted a lot of time on Music and then Guilds. Unfortunately, he should be able to see my tech and would know exactly what I am taking. My only hope is to strike faster, than he can react: three Galleons with amphibious praets will sail away towards his capital in two turns after I get Astro.

(The city has exactly 10 food in the storage, so no, it is not going to embarrass me by starving away a specialist before calculating GPP.)

This graph, I think, illustrates the story of SD's suicide better than anything else. Just think of it: he has as much crop yield as Commodore. But Commodore lost his capital during the game and SD swallowed whole a neighbor.
Meanwhile...
I will have to assume that Alhazard has Optics and be extra cautious. Or maybe I'll invest in Alpha after Guilds. The plan for nine praets was too optimistic, had to swap the last two for HAs to send off the party quickly. Still, should be enough to kill three LBs with a little luck. This, of course, is not all I got, I will be sending a second wave towards 'hazard's Moai city. It is very close, I should be able to hit it just about when this vanguard takes position in the striking distance of his capital.

How do you think he arrived there? Too many whips? Bad land quality? Wrong tile improvements?

I believe, this graph provides an answer:
It is very obvious that until recently Superdeath systematically underprioritized CY in favor of MFG. In other words, the answer is mismanagement.

The fleet is in position.
Well, that's awkward. I decided to take a 78% shot at the Caravel. Alhazard would be able to take this fight anyway during his turn and on top of that, he would get important info about the number of my Galleons. My Galleon promptly died, of course, taking 3 Praets with her. I cleaned up with another one. Here is the final postion:
