Shouldn't WK have the first part of the turn timer since he was the one who declared...?

It will take a few turns, but with the catapaults this is a foregone conclusion.

Interesting news in diplomacy.
While chatting with plako, he told me that Adlain just sent him the entire Locke "embargo" email and all the discussion that followed.

I figured someone was going to leak it eventually.
Also, does anyone think that Luddite is taking a huge risk by trying to put the GLib in a front-line city? He's already lost one city to overconfidence.

Yeah, which means that Plako will have another early yet profitable war. You don't see too many of those. It was a bit noobish of WK to leave that forested hill open right outside his capital.

Eh...while there was a pertinent word missing there, he is probably going to have to do that anyway to keep the trade routes.

That is the problem for Rego. If he starts moving up the scoreboard and into first place, everyone knows how to bring him back down a peg. I suspect the only reason so many people opened borders with him to begin with was him being in last place.

What's more interesting is how he would be doing if he hadn't moved to the coast to start. Having the coastal start clearly didn't speed up the GLH for him.
