Yeah yeah yeah - I know.
Speaking of HER, here's what she said
Quote:I don't have a choice to but to build F Smy, at this rate. Otherwise Austria is going to eat me.
It was true i did ask support into Rumania, but that was more to catch Austria offguard rather than an actual stab against you...

So I think A War, and seeing if we can get Turkey to work with us to demolish Austria quickly (some Italy help would be nice, but they're in trouble if we go full Juggernaut, which we probably have to).
Why not Bot-Bal?

Depends how much we trust EG not to pester us at StP in the near future. If they don't, we can try to make a case to G that it's in his best interest to throw us a bone so we don't distract them from F.

I would think that it is likely that a) Germany will build F Kie and b) support himself to Baltic this year

If I'm understanding this correctly, that means England moves to Sweden?

No - depending on how tight E/g are, England will try to take Stp, and Germany will support himself to Sweden in the fall. Or possibly England will give Germany Paris and take Sweden?
Either way, it's not going to me, at least not YET!!!

Email to Scooter.
Quote:So, it looks like you were able to snooker Nakor and get the army in Brest. Seems like the EG is going in full effect?
So let's talk Sweden and St. Pete. If you're going after St. Pete now, that's fine. You get a pass for saying you weren't going after it at the beginning of the game, since in 1901, everyone is pretty much saying everything to everyone. But if you tell me now that you're not going after St. Pete and then you go after it anyways, that's gonna seriously harm our relations. And Dip is a good game to have some mid-game friends.
So, (I seriously tried for like 10 minutes to figure out something else to start my paragraphs with) what now? I predict A Lon and F Edi for you? I guess I'm trying to figure out how Russia can fit in to a EG alliance? I mean in theory it can make some sense, right? And you and I (at least IMO) seem to have a good relationship. We are equally fit in thirds on the board - you on the left, Germany down the middle and me on the right. So if we can figure out a good way that we can trust each other, then we just start at the top and work our way down.
Do you have any interest in something like that? Because right now I'm getting a little nervous about the two of you heading my way sooner rather than later....
I also chatted with Austria about things. He's building A Tri and going to move Gal south. I think that I have to build A War, and I had some discussions with Austria about potentially AIG moving to Tyl/Boh/Sil and taking Munich next year. He didn't seem that excited but I"ve got 3 days to work on him

Quote:The SE looks a little better (minus the rogue Austrian army in Galicia that must have gotten "lost" on his way to Budapest... Unfortunately, the north is not looking so hot. Such is the danger of being Russia - you border pretty much everyone in the game (except France), so it's hard to make it ALL go well all at the same time :-)
So, what are your thoughts? We're at the point where we have to figure out which of AT we're going to tackle (first). Do you have any thoughts on which you'd prefer? I've been kind of going under the impression that you'd prefer to work with Austria against Turkey but wanted to confirm that.
If that's the case, I think that the 3 of us need to work together and not only take out Turkey, which at this point shouldn't be too bad (she'll be dead or down to 1 center by 1903), but also move west against the looming EG alliance. Like we talked about earlier on, the key to getting into a good situation in the mid-game is to clean out "your" side before the other side of the board clears out theirs. At this point, EG are looking strong while we're still figuring things out. With Germany in Burgundy and an English army on the continent, France is not looking good.
We need to figure something out there. Do you have any thoughts?
Are you building F Nap? I hope so - another army is going to make Austria awful nervous.
I decided not to talk about my plan of Tyl/Boh/Sil just yet because I'm not 100% sure of where he is and don't want that info passed on to Germany and make him build 2 armies.

Quick note to Germany - copied some of the stuff from the email to Scooter - hopfully I didn't make any copy / paste errors

I think he's a lost cause at this point - I am trying to figure out how/why he'd want to work with us at this point, assuming Scooter and he are on board. Seems to make more sense for him to just come my way (which is why I'm trying to organize a pre-emptive strike)
