The scarcity of iron could definitely be interesting once the medieval era rolls around. Does luddite have it in his territory?

Every civ had access to iron IMO. Mackoti lost his access now though.

Oh, really? I was going off of what rego said about not seeing much iron. I guess he hasn't scouted far into most people's territory then.
I see mackoti's iron(s) are up in the north behind Silver City. He could still nab the western iron, will be interesting to see if luddite can plant a city there if/when he notices.

For sure. It's actually 4 since I'll get those other 2 also once I take WK's final city

It is pretty close to walking right up to the line on this. Founding a new city solely to keep war weariness going and shuffling workers off to a civ who did absolutely nothing to help you all game just to spite the civ that rightfully earned them through conquering? Pretty damn lame.
If WK ran off to a different part of the map, made peace, and tried to rebuild it would be one thing. But at this late stage, there is no land available for expansion and the attempt would solely be to exploit a game mechanic to extend a grudge that, quite frankly, I don't really understand WK having in the first place.

Agree with all this. Is this really going to happen or was it just an idea? I think it's very cheesy and it was pretty ridiculous to see regoarrar threatening Plako with that idea.

Worker gifting sounds pretty similar in concept to city gifting, as far as the rules go. Ultimately it's up to GES but a lot of the stuff rego is encouraging WK to do seems to cross the line.
It would be more fair if he wants to delete workers to prevent their capture.

1) the whole OB thing
2) now he's spending EPs on us, and we've lost his graphs
If we're lucky, maybe we'll get some 3 way conflicts developing. Locke will be thrilled.
