I hate going over conspiracy theories, but if Rowain stabbed me this would be his best shot, but he'd have to coordinate with Turkey and Russia. This in turn would ensure Germany wins. So he shouldn't stab.
And round and round we go. Fact is though even worst case on Russia and turkey working together and guessing right, they could take bul and rum this turn by going con s aeg - bul and bal s sev - rum. The problem with that is I can still take both of those back in the fall possibly disbanding russia's army and probably killing off turkey. They wouldn't disband any of my armies because I will have left Ser and Gre open for retreats.
It'll be an interesting turn if Russia does what I say or if Turkey and Russia actually work together or if Italy stabs. In all cases I have working contingencies, however, and in the end I'll come ahead I believe.

Me against the world.
At this point I've been stabbed by 4 countries in one turn. Italy is a fool I was fine if Russia didn't do as they said they would. I had no issue with that. I could handle it if Italy stabbed, in fact I was half expecting it. But Italy stabbing with Turkey and Russia stabbing with Germany is too much.
It's pretty stupid of Italy. I don't know what he expects at this point. Germany will win, because now I'm just going to try and take Italy's centers. I've retreated the fleet to Alb. I'm considering moving Gal to Vie and Alb to that fucking sea between me and Italy that I can't remember the goddamn name of right now.
They aren't even all coordinating. I can tell. Uberfish is already like wtf sorry. That's really not good enough. Rowain you fucking twat. Uber you utter sap.

Uberfish told Russia that he was attacking War because he thinks that it should be his and I'll attack moscow from war but theres no way to take moscow if you attack from war because ukr support is cut by sev attack. I cannot believe this idiocy.

Honestly I'm not sure I can take much more of this game. It takes forever, makes me hate everyone I'm playing with, I think about it all the time, keeps me up at night going over the possibilities, and now after today I've just been completely consumed anger to the point I'm fighting with my wife. I don't think I can handle a game like this. I'm emotional and I hate carrying around this obsessed anger all day. It's one thing if I could move on to the next turn and do something, but this game has dragged for fucking ever. I really can not stand the time in between turns when I'm on pins and needles and going over everything in my head. I've pretty much felt terrible the entire time I've played this. The only joy I've felt this entire time was when I was making up funny messages or when I was able to pull off disbanding Russia's army. But that joy is soon sapped by the vultures that are these other players.
I'm considering playing Kingmaker here. Choosing either Russia or Germany and helping them win the game. I really just want to smack Rowain up because he's been such a friggin idiot this entire game. Even now his stab of me didn't give him any SCs. He's been the perfect patsy for everyone this entire game.

I don't have time to give this a proper response, because I have to leave for work in 2 minutes, but dude, I know EXACTLY how you feel. I spent months feeling the exact same way (well, there were people I liked in that game, but otherwise...) in Pitboss 3. I have to go now, but if you want to talk about it later on, feel free. Don't let it go in this way for months, I made that mistake.

There are two paths. I have decided I need to be less involved. One way to do it is to ally with Russia, give him War and rum this turn, have him build fleets in stp and sev, and work with him for the rest of the game. If I did this I would stop talking to everyone else and just work with Russia. It would be lower maintenance and I could worry less about winning. It's a viable strategy for diplomacy, but not really for winning. In other words I'd stop trying to win. That'd go a long way towards exorcising the demons.
The problem with this is that I am worried about the games balance and integrity. I don't want to screw the game. Thus, the second option is that someone takes over the game for me. Is anybody interested? I've built a nice strong country.  Anyone taking over would have fresh diplo. Could easily patch things up with Italy. I have no chance of doing that as words have been said.
Does anyone disagree with either of these ideas?
