[NO PLAYERS] PBEM58 lurkers and their kindhearted gentle thread

Actually some religions do have better spread chances. Its due to the order that the religions are in. If the first religion randomly spreads then the gamestops checking to see if any othes spread to that city and moves onto the next city.

Yeah, I know. But each religion itself has the same spread chance as the others when they are checked individually. And Judaism is first in the list, not Hinduism which is in the middle.

I didn't get a single withdraw in all of PB11! cry

The culture situation is weird--as you can see I still have a ton of culture in the Lontano Villa/Harena Desert area--I even displaced one of B4ndit's axes by settling the city. Right now the plan is to chop out a Granary and Library, as well as pasturing the sheep. Hopefully I'll be able to get enough culture in the city before the holy city capital becomes too much (Hindu spread pretty please? I won't tell shhh ). Heck, maybe the plan is to put the second Academy in there mainly for culture purposes? That can't be right, can it?

It's time for the Kuro defense...

Oh wow, he really is. Now B4ndit has to declare again and take that city, it's going to be much too tempting a target to ignore. Plus it looks like CH is defending again with a small garrison of units vulnerable to a mounted army. He's even scouting with one of his archers duh

lol He thinks he can take the second ring gold mine from the holy city. Right. So he decides not to build the granary which is going to make his city weaker long term, reducing its ability to get more culture buildings.

I just realized he'a also scouting that same region with an axe, in an area he's already explored. So he's founding an academy and building a non-creative library at size one in an aggressive ill-defended border settlement up against a neighbor who he has terrible relations with & is packing HA, while he uses a couple of his sparse military units to wander around already revealed territory in the opposite direction of where they obviously should be. I'm no expert at BTS by any stretch of the imagination, but Jesus Christ, CH.

Well, I stand corrected, somewhat. CH still has majority culture on the gold tile from before. I wouldn't be surprised if he'll have lost it by the time he expands borders to get it though.
