Well, you're free to break your NAPs. Just don't expect anyone else to want to sign them with you when nearly nobody else breaks them.

NAPs would be utterly pointless if people just cancelled them at a whim. That is the entire point of a NAP agreement - to describe precisely when it cannot be cancelled!

You break an NAP and you are not going to be trusted at all. Each person has their own views on what is aggression as well, so it is generally best to find out what they view as aggression (settling in your face is one reason that I've seen for "breaking" an NAP, and that is rarely talked about before signing an NAP). Sometimes people sign an NAP then slap down a pink dot city and say "you can't attack me, we have an NAP! :neenernee" and don't seem to realise that they were, in some players eyes, breaking the NAP themselves.

Or for example, trading Steel to your NAP partner's enemy. Or settling land that was ambiguously owned. Some people with martyr complexes might construe this as grounds for breaking a NAP :neenernee.

Last time I checked so did most of the lurkers in that game.

That might be the best in the game right now just because they haven't expanded as hard.

Yeah, but still, they have a half decent number of cities. Surprising how many players are still doing quite well, tbh. I think only 3 are fairly screwed.

Leaders:

1. Lord Parkin-Almost as much land as plako with no war, and VERY LONG NAPs.
1. plako-Doing everything right so far, but a huge target on him.
3. Locke-Clear tech leader.

Under the radar:

4. Rego-Expanding rapidly without crashing due to TGLH.
5. Luddite-Lots of land already, and more to expand into.
6. Sleeping Moogle-Doing reasonably well overall.
7. Nakor-Teching well, but running out of expansion room fast.

Obviously screwed, in this order:

8. Mackoti-Will probably still prove a thorn in somebody's side, though.
9. Adlain-The fact that he is behind Mackoti is mindboggling.
10. WK-Dead soon.

I'd put Gakor above Moogle. That's a very reasonable tech rate. And rego should be fourth but is only under the radar because others aren't paying attention. In other words, definitely a leader. Though I LP seriously isn't exactly that far ahead of Locke IMO (I'd drop PLako to third until and unless he can finish the war and get the economy back on track. Lots of cottages needed).

I'm going to be blunt: Adlain is simply not good at Civ. He needs to be playing on Noble or Prince against AIs, not against players in an MP environment. He has no city management skills, since we're constantly telling him to simply use his food.
