Because it takes a very weird mindset to win a CV in multiplayer. It's downright painful to strip everything everywhere, to basically "give away" all the empire you've been working on. Lewwyn is a dodged guy, it's not in his nature...it's fundamentally alien to how we normally play Civ.

T3 attacked T4 with T3 < 20 turns from a win? that sounds like a bad idea...

Does anyone have a link to where TT did this? I'd like to see what he did.

PBEM24: TT held the narrow choke to his land for a long time against a drastically more modern attacker (Mackoti in Blue)
Sadly, Twinkletoes himself didn't report this game very well, so Commodore took it upon himself to offer eyewitness reports from a blimb! He even sailed his trusty galley up to Mackoti's destroyers for an interview!

I sold him the Cav and rifles, but the crazy guy teched to cannon all by his lonesome. See 24 for also "how MP CV attempts go: poorly".

Because you have three CV cities to protect, and they don';t become safe until around t185-t188, so the units still need to be in reach of all of the cities...and that's assuming perfect luck popping GA.

two good things from ASM's update:

First, he knows that Team 3 is up to something.
More importantly, china is about to win cultural control along the border, which will delay Team 3's attack an extra turn
On another note: team 3 will have to make a choice whether they want to use Kremlin-slavery or State Property Caste System workshops. Which do you guys think is better?

I'm surprised Omar revolted on capture actually...

They're going to need to flip more than the 49% tile, though, right? Unless they flip that plains forest tile it's just going to funnel them east, but they were planning on going that way anyway for the feint. If the forest does flip, though,

Well, the forest should fall soon after the 49% tile. Both are equidistant from Marlo and Macau. The forest would have gotten a little more culture from the artist bomb, but not all that much more.
