I can play the odd turn as required, sure, but I'm not going to be the primary turn player. That was my understanding of what scooter was suggesting.

I think I'll add another caveat to my offer, if there are 3 other people or pairs that want the role, I'll happily stand aside and join a random team. I don't want to stop other people having fun with the role.
Question: Are we going to have sub fora for this game? And if so, will they be open or closed? I ask this question simply because closed fora might entice more lurkers to join the game and contribute to the community. Obviously, every player that wants to join should be allowed to join a team no matter what... Also...democracy game, not a generic PB, right? I'd also be ok with players signing up for ALL the forums to global lurk so long as they only stayed as lurkers and didn't add spoilers.
Yeah, I believe this would technically be Intra-site Democracy Game 1 rather than Pitboss 8.

I would not have any problems with that, and a lurker sign up thread would make it simple to administrate as well. Also, closed sub-fora would make it possible for the forum mods to play in the game, if they so wished (as 1 player on each team could have mod privileges in the sub forum).

Team S7M anounce they recruit new memebers , even spacentru... can join to us will find a good role for him too. As aquizition we annouce we already transfered Kyan from england in our team.
