Our panther pal is back again. What do we want to do with our two warriors this turn? My initial gut instinct is to keep them in place on their current tiles, the two forested hills. We get 99% odds to win the battle on that defensive terrain. Both warriors can also easily move out of attack range if desired. However, this could be a good chance to clear that barb animal at extremely high odds.

Thoughts/suggestions? Plenty of time before we play.

Agreed, let them absorb the attack, and hope they heal up quick.

I agree too with staying in place. It's like a perfect opportunity to clear the panther.

Agreed on absorbing the panther attack.

However, on the chance of losing the 99.3% or so battle, I think we should move our warriors to be mutually supporting. Ie, move Tyrant Xenu 1E, to the intended overwatch spot.

That gives a slightly lower chance of victory (hill + river crossing), but if Tyrant Xenu or Goldilocks are defeated, the other one can kill the panther next turn.

ETA: And we can move Goldilocks to the MM tile, if there is no panther on the tile 1N of the pig. We spawnbust just as well from there, forest + river crossing is excellent defence, and we avoid the river-crossing penalty on any further combat with a winning panther.

Animals don't heal, so no need to worry about finishing it up.

No, but if the panther wins, we need to kill it ASAP, so it sticks around and we have to cover two workers with one warrior.

Yeah, moving the warrior 1E to be next to the other one makes sense.

I suggest staying put with both warriors. If the panther wins we can move next to it next turn, and IIUC it will then suicide with 90% probability. If we move our warriors we risk moving them in range of another animal to the southeast and we could get double-teamed.

There was no animal on the tile 1N of the pig T29. If there is an animal there now (unlikely), we simply move both warriors onto the hill 1NE of the deer.
