I don't think we can debug that unless we're familiar with whatever flash thing (slideshow?) object you're trying to use. I see you're cramming a 1024 pixel object inside a 640 pixel div which is not good though.

CFC and Poly do...

and that's probably from me messing around with it...

There's a space inside the URL for "flashvars" property, if you copied that code as-is.

OK, long story short, I got Education for 700g, gold resource for 10 turns, and a world map. I then researched Philosophy in 1 turn, dropped a GS into Astro for 2613 beakers, and will finish Engineering eot T210. Then I invade azza with over 60 units. I will the save gold and likely finish Astro eot T213 and start building galleons to dissuade scooty from doing anything smart after they dismember Mick.

Any chance for a 5-turn report and some picture dumps?
Thanks,

Yeah, that's happening most likely tomorrow. I have an exam tomorrow morning, but after then I'm free and clear. The previous 5 turns will likely have minimum explanations except some strategic stuff and a full report on T212 which will likely be played tomorrow evening.

Turn 207 to Turn 210

These four turns were probably the least interesting of the past 50. The highlights were moving the last of the invasion force into position before moving in on azza on T211, and somehow wheedling Education out of Pingo for a world map, gold resource that he already has from azza (though he will not have that for much longer if my attack works) and 700g. I think Education would have cost me somewhere in the the region of 3000 gold to research due to spending turns researching instead of saving gold, and the deficit research, but more importantly after I research Philosophy which is a blocking tech, I can drop one GS into an Astro bulb. Philo is a one turn tech at 80% or 90%, which is trivial to research, and I need it to unlock Liberalism and then Communism so they are not wasted beakers (although there is the slight loss of efficiency from not researching after I get OU down).

The reason I will only use a single GS to bulb is that that one GS will drop in 2610-ish beakers into Astro, leaving a mere 1900 beakers to research. Using the second GS to bulb SM will actually give me more total beakers even accounting for the Prerequisite bonus and is about even compared to when I get OU down on top of that, and I have enough gold saved to get Astro by eot T212. The advantage to this is that I keep a second great person around so that I can trigger my first golden age with the saved GS, and enables the second GA with the great priest and the GS due from Crapital in the next dozen turns, which is by the end of the first GA considering the improved GPP modifiers.

The total number of troops I have invading azza are few in number: the first wave has 35 knights and over 25 cats ready to attack Fuschia city. Fuschia has a castle by the time I attack, but accuracy promoted cats will still remove 8% from the city defence bonus per turn, which means I will be able to remove that 100% city defence in a single turn. That is a change from base BtS, but TBH if you can walk up to a city with over 25 cats and not do that in a single turn that's a broken city improvement considering the cost of the cats and the cost of the castle. azza will have about as many units total as I have units capable of killing, but no more than 10 cats and seven HA. He will not be bale to flank away my cats, or damage my units significantly. Especially considering I have that medic 3, woodsman 3 (M3, W3) jag that can heal units on that tile for 40% even in enemy territory.

This will be fun.

Turn 207 - scooty have rifles

Turn 208 - Education at last

Turn 209 - Dying like flies

Turn 210 - The eternal GA is over, and all is good

Thanks for the update. However the links point to turn 197. I manually edited the URL for turn 207 and it worked...

Thanks for the catch, I thought I changed that right at the start. Obviously not...
