Yeah, I slowbuilt it without any modifiers - no IND, OR, forge or stone. crazyeye

Actually, I tested it in worldbuilder and it could see the stack.

In the north, my galley is probably dead but it got visibility on Dodge city and pillaged its seafood.

And in the south, maybe an explanation for why Boldly hasn't slowbuilt Mids yet:

Yup, that's stone and not marble. I'm blockading the city, but I'm not sure if my blockade works on fogged tiles, so I'll move 1S and blockade from there next turn, to be sure. That city is going to be pure expenses for Boldly...

With no easy marble for us, and Pyramids in hand, I'm going to grab Code of Laws and Civil Service and then double-revolt to Bureaucracy and Representation.

Screenshot says it all. Nice visibility on the south central sea, and I wouldn't want to be in charge of defending Comoros at the moment.
I have to run.

Yeah I had a suspicion that might be the case...and I forgot about blockades. You should defog the tile 1s too or worldbuilder check that trade routes don't go through ice.

Wonder if that contradicts what Commodore told us about the mirroring of the map, should check later.

Slowbuild (verb):
1. To build using only the natural production of a city.
2. (Novice) To build at a rate of less than 100 modified hammers per turn.

Example usage: I noticed that Shoot the Moon was going for the mids, so I quickly slowbuilt it out from under him.

Btw, not sure if you can blockade in neutral territory.

Yeah I don't quite think what novice just did counts as slowbuilt.

You can blockade in neutral territory, I'm doing it this turn and Boldly did it to me earlier. You can't blockade from within your own borders, though.
I have to run.

Worldbuilder testing showed that I can blockade tiles I haven't scouted, and that ice tiles are blockaded. So my trireme blockading the stone city stayed in place.

I'm finally building forges and I want courthouses next. The maintenance reduction would be great and I'm about to lose graphs on both Zak and Dazed, so they will be needed. Maybe build wealth in my forge cities until Civil Service is in, though.

I have to run.
