OK, I've played the turn, but I've got to go out for the evening, but a couple of teasers: It isn't Thoth to the north, and this might be my most unconventional opening for a while. Here is a sim, so if anyone is bored and wants to try and figure out the interesting build paths for the next 20 turns they can have fun doing that. It's actually an interesting experiment for newer players in balancing needs in the early game IMO.

Edit: Man, why do I keep skipping lines in the text when I read Krill's blog? That never happens elsewhere.

That would be brilliant. Especially since my laptop doesn't have a numberpad, converting those to cardinal directions takes a while in my head.

First civ to size 2, first to size 3 (before they are size 2, but some people are making 8 fpt at size 1). Update coming sometime tonight. I'm hoping that Serdoa has the save again by tomorrow morning, but that relies on Thoth being sober tonight, which I kinda doubt.
