Yeah, I think I want to unfog the next layer of black south of our capital

Hope the move went well scooter!
I decided on NE over SE, and I think I want to go NE again next turn.
Buddhism was either plako or WilliamLP. Both got techs and both start with Mysticism. Leaning towards it being WilliamLP due to him being SPI and this being pretty early to land a religion.

Yeah, NE again. Need to get back to daylight. Maybe plant NE of the gems on the hill. Gems are yummy.

Well, I decided 1 gems just was not enough, so I waved my magic wand and poof.
The bad news is this gems comes with a price - our scout needs to win a coin flip against the panther. Either way, happy to see another gems. Valuable early trading tool once we get routes going. Worker finally ready to roll next turn.
WilliamLP is our Buddhist founder.

That's 2 vs 2.5 - better than a coin flip.

And a non-jungled gems too! Still, I think we want to get IW relatively early this game
Edit: We auto win our first animal battle on Monarch, right? If we survive I think scout goes E onto the hill

Turn 018
We have another unit!
First order of business is to improve the wheat to be 6f. After the wheat we'll improve the cows, and then it will almost be time for Bronze Working to finish. We're starting on a warrior as well that will finish right as we grow to size 4 (in 10 turns).
I forgot to name the worker, but I'll find us a Trailblazer of note.
Our scout survived, but is now at 0.5 health. I moved him onto the hill anyway and we're rewarded with another hut. Do we pop this one next turn and risk healing? I think that wouldn't be an awful result - it would save us 6 turns of healing. But maybe it's good to wait and heal 1 turn so we can finish Mining before popping it.

Popping healing from the hut would be okay with me - the time saved from having to sit and heal might just be enough to score us another hut.
As for whether to wait a turn in case we pop Mining from the hut... I don't know, I'm pretty indifferent there.

Waiting a turn to pop has the advantage of we have a shot at getting BW.
