Let's see...
Wheel is 96 beakers. We're making 15bpt at size 4, 16 with the freebee. So 6 turns to tech Wheel. Which is going to come a turn or two after the settler finishes.

Hey man I didn't know how much Wheel costs, I've never logged until the game.

Upcoming timings...
t30 BW finishes
t31 worker begins chop somewhere
t33 worker chop finishes
t34 settler finishes
t35 revolt to slavery
t37 2nd city founded this turn after settler moves 35 & 36
t37 Wheel finishes, even if we whip the capital on this turn as well. Teching Archery would delay Wheel by a turn, and with the timing of how the worker turns line up, this is a good turn to get Wheel on.
So from turn 34 - 37 we can have our worker do one of the following:
1) mine the grass hill that I originally marked
2) move to the forest E of the rice and chop that out. Upside: the chop will finish the turn that the 2nd city gets founded (and likely would go into a worker at city #2). Downside: the worker would be outside of our borders on turns 34 - 36, and would be unprotected on turn 34. This would also prevent our warrior from being able to do a little scouting onto the nearby hill, unless we risk our worker on turn 35 as well. I don't like this option.
3) we move to another forest at the capital and chop that into a worker at the capital. With a chop & a whip that would have us complete workers on turns 37 & 39. If we mine instead of chopping then the 2nd worker finishes on t39 with 26h overflow which I would be tempted to put into a scouting work boat (t40) and then regrow on warriors. If we went for a third worker that would finish t41
I think I lean into chopping to get 2 quick workers after the settler. Then regrow on warriors. But getting that fast work boat out is tempting as well.

Or chop out worker #3 from our second city and have the whipped worker overflow go into a work boat.

Did some number crunching, and I think I like the capital going worker -> worker after the settler. It gets the workers out sooner, gets city #2 connected faster, and then we can chop out a settler to get city #3 up on turn 50. 3 cities by t50 sounds pretty good to me. (It would be down by the wheat & stone.)

Turn 030
Looks like our scout skipped over a small peninsula. I'll probably keep hugging the coast for a bit
Lewwyn's scout shows up in the south.
I kept our worker on the flatland forest; I think that will be the best one to chop. Because we're going to be chopping a lot so might as well open up the movement a bit

Yep, we do, see:
Oh, you mean closer to us. Hmm. Well would this work okay?
yaycopper.jpg. I moved our scout, and we found Chinese borders:
I kind of want to declare war and move 1S then see how things look, but I'm open to ideas. Any thoughts? We could of course try to get 10T enforced peace out of it too after that. No sign of Roman copper:
Could have it elsewhere obviously, but just worth noting. Here is our glorious capital:
#2 in food because we are just that cool.
