There are enough instances of him double moving for the former, and as for the lying scumbag part, ar you really going to disagree with that?
I'm not disagreeing with past behavior, we all know all about it. I'm asking about this game. Is anyone breaking agreed upon rules in this game? If they are then they should be made to stop or kicked out of the game. If they aren't then we shouldn't be flaming them over past transgressions. If LP shows he hasn't changed his ways and persists in poor sportsmanship with double moves and clock games, etc., he'll probably find it hard to find people willing to play with him in the future. I personally won't play games he's in for that reason. But he also hasn't played a game here in a while, maybe he's a rehabilitated member of society now, who knows. Give him enough rope to hang himself, maybe he'll surprise you. Or maybe not, but why insult him here in a thread he can't even read? It doesn't serve a purpose or advance a conversation about anything.

I'm pretty sure the main purpose of lurker threads is to insult players where they can't see.
Civilization IV: 21 (Bismarck of Mali), 29 (Mao Zedong of Babylon), 38 (Isabella of China), 45 (Victoria of Sumeria), PB12 (Darius of Sumeria), 56 (Hammurabi of Sumeria), PB16 (Bismarck of Mali), 78 (Augustus of Byzantium), PB56 (Willem of China)
Hearthstone: ArenaDrafts Profile No longer playing Hearthstone.
Who made the map again? I'm guessing plako.

I'm not really following this too much, what's going on?

Hi guys, a bit late for the show. This is the first lurkers thread I read. Interesting stuff :D
This game is actually the first game here where I know at least some of the players and will be interesting to lurk. So far I had some reasons not to, but now I think I will ![]() For me it was surprising to see how frivolous the attitude and personal relations between players actually are Not the players in this game, but generally players in the community.I am about to just start reading the actual players threads to be able to comment game decisions, etc, but so far few things made me an impression in this thread and wanted to comment on: (August 22nd, 2013, 02:08)Bigger Wrote:(August 22nd, 2013, 02:03)Lewwyn Wrote: Story thread... WTF. This is actually pure Apolyton thing. It comes from the Poly diplo-games, which means the main purpose of the game is to tell smart, witty, inspiring and original stories, where every of the players presents the in-game events trough his prism for other players amusement, or to mock the other players, to make instigations, or outright lies while in-game success comes as far secondary goal. Then people vote for who is the best storyteller and he is considered winner in the game. Many times the diplo-games winners are not at all those who win the game with in-game means.
