AT loves it when a plan comes together!! [Spoilers]

I think what it was before was that the first strike of revolt would never have any effect, and only a second consecutive strike turn would cause you to lose units. They patched it so that strike turns are cumulative over the course of the entire game. Not sure, but it was definitely changed in some way since that guy posted on CFC about winning by Domination on Deity with Rome via constant anarchy.

With your empire's small size won't you only get one turn of anarchy per revolt? Even if you swap multiple civics you'll only have one turn of anarchy until you have like ten or eleven cities on your map size right? I guess the interface on F3 would answer that when you go to do the swaps.

Played: Pitboss 18 - Kublai Khan of Germany Somalia | Pitboss 11 - De Gaulle of Byzantium | Pitboss 8 - Churchill of Portugal | PB7 - Mao of Native America | PBEM29 Greens - Mao of Babylon

Swapping five civics always gives three turns of anarchy on Normal speed IIRC.

Damnit, no screenshots because nothing happened. Cornflakes didn't move forward, instead reinforcing his stack with 6 machine guns, which is enough to make any attack unsuccessful with the units I have. So I positioned my stack such that if Cornflakes moves forward, I'll just move past him and raze some of his cities. Nothing else I can really do.

Question: is it acceptable to sell cities for gold? I literally need gold to keep the army alive, so is it OK to make the proposition?

How did you get such a big army off your little empire? Is it mostly legacy builds and/or what's your whip/draft cycle?

Deep unhappiness, so might as well revolt?

You've certainly lasted longer than I would have imagined that you would.

Draft everything, still got GT city. Don't whip. Planted a 4th city to push back against Bigger a bit. You just never stop building units. All of the rifles are new, as are most of the muskets. Cannon are hard to build though, I've built a couple but most of them predate my takeover.

I doubt I get much pillage gold...moving that stack into enemy territory, well...I doubt it lasts very long.

Well I mean city capture gold too. Anyway I think it'd be reasonable if you can get a reasonable amount of gold for your cities and if you do it one city at a time. I have no idea what would be a reasonable amount of gold though.

I kinda gave up. Cornflakes just had too many units to deal with regardless of what I did. I managed to kill 13 units though! Also if anyone knows how to embed twitch videos I'd appreciate explaining it to me.
